Over time, things need upgrades. My own website is no exception! Initially built in 2021, I decided after taking the site down for maintenance back in early 2025, that I wanted to spend some time revamping the website to line up with my branding I created for my artist alley booth to have a cohesive shopping experience.

I wanted to bring a bit more of my art style into the website, but I also wanted to de-clutter the graphics, as the images previously used felt too overwhelming and busy. To accomplish this, I used more overlays, and simplified the category images from one big hodgepodge graphic to a hand drawn illustration of my original bunny design to illustrate the category.

My branding also morphed into using a lot of rounded corners and circles for a softer look. I implemented this with half page graphics with a rounded side, as well as rounding the edges of the buttons to bring in the circular shapes that I began using on my artist’s alley booth as well.

I feel like the redesign suits my style now a lot more, and feels more like my recent work – cute and simplistic.
